This excursion is a great opportunity for tourists to see, taste and enjoy traditional Dalmatian Hinterland party based on traditional gastronomy, especially Dalmatian Prosciutto and Wine. Guest will enjoy Village surrounding and hospitality.
Excursion plan: 19:30 Arrival to Village Majici in Dalmatian Hinterland (It is located just 150 meters from highway exit Ravca). 19:35 Upon arrival guests will be welcomed at the traditional spot named Guvno which was used for different kinds of agricultural activities in the past. There they will be served with local liquors and seasonal fruits (strawberries, figs, peaches, cherries… depending on the season). 20:00 Guests will be escorted to traditional Dalmatian Prosciutto making facility where they will be able to taste different kinds of prosciutto and will be shown complete process of making Dalmatian delis. 20:20 Wine and prosciutto tasting in a garden behind family’s old house. We are serving our local vines and products of our factory like prosciutto, pancetta, sausages, smoked sirloin etc., some locally made cheese and seasonal vegetables. 21:00 Dinner will be served in the backyard of old house. Menu is as following: - Traditional Dalmatian Peka with veal and chicken meat - BBQed meat with local herbs from Biokovo Mountain - Baked potatoes, grilled vegetables - Seasonal salad - Chocolate mousse with forest fruit on the top All drinks are included and unlimited – wine, beer, juices, water… It is important to note that most of the food served is from the local garden and facilities. Musicians with accordion and guitar and in house DJ will be playing local and international music music during dinner time so it will be possible to dance, sing and party.
