Entering through Pile Gate, you will see Franciscan Monastery, Onofrio’s Fountain, and Rector’s Palace. You’ll hear some of the fascinating stories and remarkable facts from around 1,400 years of Dubrovnik history, including a period of the Republic of Ragusa and Yugoslavian War. On the city tour, you will be able to see and discover all the highlights of Dubrovnik’s Old Town. On the main square, we will enjoy a view of Sponza Palace, Baroque church of St. Blasius and the most photographed monument, Orlando’ s column. In the Old Port, we will tell you all about Quarantine protected by fortresses of St. John and Revelin. All sights are under the protection of UNESCO, putting an additional emphasis on the importance of these buildings. You’ll learn about sea trade and shipbuilding.
