The circular path passes through some of the most interesting structures on Medvednica. A 4.5 – 5 hour walk along with 2 – 2.5 hours of breaks, as well as drinks and a lunch.
We will arrive at the restaurant Šestinski Lagvić by car, and from there head towards Queen's Well, an excursion site and a source of potable water. After a short break, we will head towards Brestovac, a former lung disease hospital, where we will arrive after a total of 2 hours of walking. After a short break and a tour of the ruins, we head towards the top of Medvednica (Sljeme – 1035 m). From the top, there is a beautiful view of the Hrvatsko Zagorje region, and sometimes, when the visibility is good (mostly in winter), a view of the Slovenian Alps. The road will then take us to the mountain lodge Grafičar (864 m), where we will have lunch. The prices in the mountain lodge are very reasonable. After lunch and a short break, we will head towards the fortress of Medvedgrad. The tour of the fortress of Medvedgrad is currently not available due to construction works, so we will only visit the area outside the walls. The only thing that's left is the final descent to the restaurant Šestinski Lagvić and the return to the departure point in the city center.
